Not gonna lie, thought this was going to be a fun little platformer until I hit the second power up and the game expanded exponentially. Blew my mind and really got interesting when the z plane was introduced. It allowed for some really fun and interesting level design. a few minor complaints mostly being how fast movement was, this really clashed with the tight corridors and more precise jumps. it wasn't unplayable levels of precise were it would be difficult to finish, so its only a minor inconvenience. Also having objects that got in front of the camera should lose opacity so you can see easier without having to get odd camera angles. Otherwise this was a really fun experience and i would totally play through a full release. Nice work mate!

Really fun game, Really captures the essence of a during school flash game played to pass the time. The game play loop kept me around for quite a while, surpassing the final medal of surviving 50 days all the way up to day 57, after that all sense of progression kinda fell off and the game got tedious and repetitive, it was just a factor of crafting more train heals and spamming those when the birds all swarmed as I slowly took them out with the AP round sniper.
This really was an absolute blast playing through, just need to figure out a way to keep that sense of building your weapons to match the strength of the on-coming swarms (i would suggest maybe implementing a system with the trader that would give the player consumable items that lower bird speed and health for the wave.) and it would be an absolute gem akin to something like Bloons or Run!!

{ps, i would like my medals ;) so that might be a bug that's still relevant.}

A really well made game with a bunch of polish. The mechanics are fun and flow smoothly into the gameplay, enjoy the time stops according to movement gimmick in a bullet hell, it works surprisingly well. The only thing I could think to be nit-picky about is the triangle split bullet patterns aren't randomized so they make it quite a bit easier to dodge, i also wouldn't mind some other bullet patterns aswell if this ever sees a full release. if it does ever get fully fleshed out into a game you've got my purchase on lock! well done keep going dude!

very well designed game, a few bugs here and there but that doesn't detract anything from the main project. The fluid game-play, simplistic graphics, and well flowing map design are some of the strongest aspects of this game. T'Was fantastic, keep working on games mate you got some real talent there

damn, I feel like Im back in high school

Very neat concept, enjoyed it quite a bit.

What a wonderful experience! I loved the harken back to classic RPG maker horror games. The small storytelling and foreshadowing details scattered about in the beginning were a masterful touch. I can't wait for this project to be complete! great work dude!

Great proof of concept!! love the concept a lot! Definitively needs some more play styles and additional patterns further into development. A character select screen that has different play styles would be a great addition too.
Very fun start to this project, I wish you luck for further development.

You have some nice level design, levels were clear and simple, you did a good job at incorporating all the features you added in like the mirrors, laser-only-blocks, and or-gates into later levels, i was a little sad to see the final level didn't incorporate all these as a sort of final challenge. other wise this was a wonderful little experience. you did a great job.

Much respect to the charting here.
